Shops and establishment working hours for those who employ 10 or more workers will get the leverage to operate 365 days with flexibility on timing to open and close
Shop Act working hours exemption for highly-skilled workers for sectors like information technology, daily working hours is 9 hours and weekly working hours is 48 hours
Women working during night will now be permitted to work 24/7. The Shops and Commercial Establishment Act has also mandated to facilitate transportation for women’s safety and other related facilities such as crèches during night shift working
