class="MsoNormal">The Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) on March 20, 2025, CBN notified Opium Farmers regarding the CPS Crop Inspection and Harvesting Guidelines for 2024-25.
It states that the Central Narcotics Bureau is inspecting the CPS crop for the 2024-25 crop year, which will continue until March 31, 2025. For this crop year, the stalk length for CPS harvesting has been reduced to 06 inches and Farmers shall break the poppy with a 06-inch stalk, record its weight in the prescribed format, and submit the report to the concerned District Opium Officer through the head of their village.
