The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on January 08, 2026, issued the notification regarding the constitution of the Working Group on Technology Roadmap for Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs).
The following has been stated namely: -
• SEBI has constituted a Working Group to develop a 5-year short-term and 10-year long-term Technology Roadmap for Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs).
• The Group will focus on emerging technologies such as AI/ML, DLT, cloud computing, SupTech, RegTech, tokenisation, and quantum-safe systems to strengthen market operations, surveillance, and risk management.
• The Group includes key industry and technology experts to ensure the Indian securities market is future-ready, resilient, and globally competitive.
