The Government of Madhya Pradesh on February 27, 2026, issued the Nirman Shramik Rain Basera Yojana 2026
The following has been stated namely: -
• The “Nirman Shramik Rain Basera Yojana 2026” has been notified by the Madhya Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board under the provisions of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act.
• The scheme is applicable across the entire State of Madhya Pradesh.
• It applies to building and other construction workers who are registered with the Board and hold valid identity cards under Section 12 of the Act.
• The objective of the scheme is to provide safe, clean night shelter accommodation and food facilities to migrant construction workers who move within the state in search of employment.
• Night shelters will be established on government-owned land in Gram Panchayat, Nagar Panchayat, Municipal Council, and Municipal Corporation areas, based on local demand assessment and recommendations of the district-level committee.
This shall come into force on February 27, 2026.
