The Clearing Corporation of India Ltd. (CCIL) on July 01, 2026, issued a notification regarding contributions towards prefunded default handling resources.
The following has been stated:-
•CCIL has announced its prefunded default handling contributions for July 2026 to cover potential losses arising from participant defaults across its clearing segments.
•The total contribution amounts to ₹2,889.84 crore, comprising Tranche 1: ₹1,733.90 crore and Tranche 2: ₹1,155.94 crore.
•The highest allocation is for the Forex Forward segment at ₹1,719.92 crore, followed by Securities, Forex Settlement, and Rupee Derivatives segments.
•CCIL clarified that these contribution amounts will continue to be notified on a monthly basis.
