The Municipal Corporation Mandi (MCM), on July 6, 2026, notified the Municipal Corporation Mandi (Door to Door Garbage Collection & Disposal) Amendment Bye-Laws, 2026, amending Annexure A of the Door to Door Garbage Collection & Disposal Bye-laws, 2022. The amendment was approved by the General House, published for public consultation, and finalized after no objections or suggestions were received.
The amendment revises the monthly user charges for door-to-door garbage collection across a wide range of user categories, including households, commercial establishments, offices, educational institutions, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, workshops, factories, markets, laboratories, street vendors, and event organizers. The revised schedule also prescribes charges for on-demand waste collection services, special hotels, bulk waste generators, and cow dung collection, with rates varying according to the type and scale of the establishment.
The amended user charges come into force from the date of publication in the Official e-Gazette, while all other provisions of the Municipal Corporation Mandi (Door to Door Garbage Collection & Disposal) Bye-laws, 2022 remain unchanged.
