The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), on August 2026, fixed the retail price of Telmisartan IP 40 mg + Amlodipine Besilate IP equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg uncoated bilayered tablets manufactured by Pure and Cure Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. and marketed by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. under Paragraph 5 of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order (DPCO), 2013, based on December 2025 market data.
The Authority has determined the retail price at ₹13.08 per tablet (excluding GST), which is the same as the proposed retail price. The price has been computed in accordance with the pricing methodology prescribed under the DPCO, 2013.
Manufacturers and marketers are required to comply with the notified retail price while marketing the formulation, with GST applicable only where actually payable in accordance with the provisions of the DPCO, 2013.
