The Higher and Technical Education Department, Government of Maharashtra on March 25, 2025, amended the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015.
The following has been stated namely:-
• In paragraph 2, for entry (1), the entry shall be substituted, namely:- "(1) Shri Samir Kumar Biswas, retired Additional Chief Secretary as a Chairperson.
• In paragraph 3, it shall be substituted, namely:- "3. The term of Office of the Chairperson and members of the Admissions Regulating Authority shall be of five years from the date of their nomination or till they attain sixty- five years of age, whichever is earlier."
