Commercial Compliance The Government of Karnataka on April 07, 2025, notified the Karnataka Stamp (Amendment) Act, 2025 to further amend the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957.

The following has been stated-

•In section 10, after subsection (3), the following shall be inserted, namely:- “(4) Subject to the rules made under sub-sections (1), (2) and (3), the State Government in this behalf, may prescribe the procedure for the payment of Stamp Duty by electronic means to the Government Treasury and for indicating such payment of Stamp Duty for the instrument.”

•Section 10-A shall be omitted.
