Industry Specific ComplianceThe Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) on June 25, 2025, announced that all applications for the Grant of WHO-GMP Certificate of Pharmaceutical Product (COPP) must now be submitted exclusively through the ONDLS portal. This online system, developed by CDAC in coordination with State authorities, already handles various other licensing processes for drugs and medical products.

Effective July 15, 2025, CDSCO will no longer accept physical applications for WHO-GMP COPP or manufacturing licenses. Manufacturing units under the relevant jurisdictions are directed to register on the ONDLS portal and utilize it for all future submissions. Contact details for CDAC and CDSCO's IT cell are provided for technical assistance with the portal. This move aims to streamline and digitize the application and approval process for these crucial certifications.
