The Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (HPERC) on July 15, 2025, issued the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Deviation Settlement Mechanism and Related Matters) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2025, to further amend the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Deviation Settlement Mechanism and Related Matters) Regulations, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Regulation 2 which states “Definitions” the following has been inserted namely: -
o “(zo) ‘MSW seller’ means a seller in the case of a generating station based on Municipal Solid Waste and include Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) based MSW generating station.”
• In Regulation 5 for the letters, words, signs and figures “CERC (Deviation Settlement Mechanism and Related Matters) Regulations, 2022”, the letters, words, signs and figures “CERC (Deviation Settlement Mechanism and Related Matters) Regulations, 2024” shall be substituted.
