The Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Fisheries, Government of Maharashtra on October 06, 2025, notified regarding the Implementation of First Come First Served (FCFS) system for beneficiary selection under MahaDBT.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Government has decided to implement a First Come First Served (FCFS) system from April 1, 2025, on the MahaDBT portal to enhance transparency and speed in beneficiary selection, replacing the existing lottery system.
• Applicants submitting false documents will face benefit recovery and a five-year block from schemes, while beneficiaries can avail the same component only once every three years.
• Category-wise allocation will follow taluka-level (general) and district-level (SC/ST/disabled) distribution, with document verification through API integration for efficiency.
