Industry Specific Compliance The Department of Mines, Govt. of Goa on October 30, 2025, issued amendments to the policy for regulating iron ore dump handling.

It states that in clause 2.2 after the words ‘With respect to the inventoried dumps’ the words ‘or dumps which were declared by the erstwhile lease holder under the Goa Mineral Policy, 2013 or the Goa (Prevention of Illegal Mining, Storage and Transportation of Minerals) Rules, 2013, within the time period prescribed therein’ shall be added.
