The Government of Meghalaya on July 08, 2025, notified regarding the appointment of the Nodal Officer for the implementation of the She-Box Portal in Meghalaya.
It has designated the Under Secretary, District Council Affairs Department, as the Nodal Officer for implementing the She-Box portal of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. This move aims to ensure effective enforcement of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013. The appointment takes immediate effect and will remain valid until further notice.
