Finance & Taxation Compliance The Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, Govt. of Tamil Nadu on October 25, 2025, notified regarding the exemption given to drama conducted in the premises of any institution or in any other places from the liability of entertainment tax payable.

It states that the drama conducted in the premises of any institution or in any other places from the liability of entertainments tax payable under the Tamil Nadu Local Authorities Entertainments Tax Act, 2017, shall be exempted.
