The Government of Bihar, on October 21, 2025, issued a notification regarding the declaration of a Holiday on the occasion of the Bihar Assembly Election 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•The Election Commission has scheduled the Bihar Legislative Assembly General Election, 2025, in two phases on November 06 and 11, 2025.
•To ensure maximum voter participation, the State Government has directed all employers in affected areas to grant paid leave to workers and officials on polling days.
•Employers must also ensure alternative arrangements for maintaining essential services.
