The Government of Madhya Pradesh, on November 07, 2025, issued a notification regarding amendments to the Madhya Pradesh Bhumi Vikas Niyam, 2012.
The following has been stated: -
•In Rule 38 (4), a proviso allows relaxation of minimum road width requirements for white category industries (single units) listed in Appendix-F and located outside planning areas, based on fire safety and disaster considerations.
•The Director may permit a minimum road width of 6.0 meters in such cases.
•However, the unit must leave 6.0 meters of land from the road’s centerline for future road widening.
