The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) on November 03, 2025, issued a circular regarding the replacement of Mobile Number with Account Number in adjustment report.
As per the current process, the adjustment report headers 'Ben_Mobile_No' and 'Rem_Mobile_No' contain mobile numbers and NBIN details. Based on requests from participant members, the changes are being made to replace the mobile number and NBIN with the account number. Refer to the Annexure-1, Table-A for a comparison of the existing and proposed changes.
The above functionality will be implemented in IRCS with effect from December 05, 2025.
Member banks are advised to take a note of the above and disseminate the information contained herein to the officials concerned.
