EHS ComplianceThe Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on November 10, 2025, notified regarding the proactive measures taken by CAQM to contain Air Pollution.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that Delhi’s average AQI from January 1 to November 9, 2025, improved to 175 from 189 last year, with lower PM2.5 (75 µg/m³) and PM10 (170 µg/m³) levels. Farm fire incidents significantly declined—35% in Punjab and 65% in Haryana—due to strict CAQM monitoring. Progress in solid waste management includes 23 lakh tonnes of legacy waste processed and the expansion of waste-to-energy and bio-CNG plants. 

• GRAP Stages I and II are currently active, enforcing anti-pollution measures like mechanical road sweeping, anti-smog guns, and DG set regulations. 

• Vehicular and industrial emissions are being curbed through cleaner fuels, bans on older vehicles, and real-time emission tracking via OCEMS. 

• Additionally, over 4.37 crore saplings have been planted across NCR in 2025–26, with CAQM continuously coordinating and monitoring compliance to sustain air quality improvements.
