Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Goa on November 10, 2025, issued a notification regarding the Prohibition of Strikes in the Dairy Sector under the Goa Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1988.

The Government has prohibited all forms of strikes in the dairy sector — including activities related to procurement, production, transportation, distribution, and retail supply of milk and milk products — across the state.

This prohibition is effective immediately and will remain in force for a period of six months from the date of issue.
