The Government of Chhattisgarh, on November 07, 2025, notified the Chhattisgarh Medical Postgraduate Admission Rules, 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•The Rules govern admissions to postgraduate medical courses in all non-minority medical colleges of the state.
•They define eligibility, NRI quota norms, reservation structure, and in-service bonus marks.
•Admissions will be conducted through online counselling, with provisions for seat conversion, fee payment, and merit-based allocation.
•Mandatory two-year state service and financial bonds are required for government college candidates, replacing the 2021 rules.
These rules shall apply to all medical colleges in the State of Chhattisgarh, except the Minority Medical Colleges.
These rules shall come into force on November 07, 2025.
