Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Textiles (MoT), on November 3, 2025, issued amendments to its earlier Notification F. No. 12014/01/2024-MMF (Part-I) published on October 9, 2025, in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I – Section 1. The corrigendum has been released to rectify typographical errors in the original notification concerning the terminology used in the Ministry’s communication related to the Man-Made Fibre (MMF) segment initiatives.

Specifically, on page 2, in paragraph 3.1, line 2, and paragraph 3.2, line 2, the word “Plan” has been corrected to “Plant” to accurately reflect the intended meaning in the context of industrial operations and investment references under the MMF sector framework. The correction ensures clarity in interpretation, particularly for stakeholders and applicants engaged in setting up or expanding textile manufacturing facilities.

This corrigendum emphasises the Ministry’s commitment to maintaining precision in official documentation and ensuring that policy communications remain unambiguous for the industry’s effective compliance and implementation.
