The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on November 07, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Password Encryption for EBP Segment - Mandatory Password Reset.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Exchange shall implement enhanced security measures to reinforce security and improve cyber resilience of the system for the EBP Segment application.
• In view of the above, a one-time password reset shall be required to be undertaken mandatorily by all the users on or after end of day of November 14, 2025.
• Once existing credentials are validated successfully while login after said date, user shall be prompted to mandatorily reset the password. Access to the application shall be enabled post successful password reset only.
