Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers (MoCF) on November 04, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Revised Ceiling Prices for Selected Scheduled Formulations under Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013

The following has been stated namely: -

• The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), exercising its powers under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013, has issued a new order fixing ceiling prices for certain scheduled formulations

• The Revised Ceiling Prices are as follows: -

o The new maximum ceiling prices (exclusive of GST) are notified for six medicines, including: -

1. Riboflavin 10mg Tablet – ₹1.11/tablet

2. Peritoneal dialysis solution – ₹0.22/ml

3. Ethyl alcohol (Denatured) 70% – ₹0.40/ml

4. Human normal immunoglobulin (16.5%) – ₹478.57/ml

5. Human normal immunoglobulin (10%) – ₹206.53/ml

6. Human normal immunoglobulin (5%) – ₹148.60/ml

• Manufacturer Compliance:

o Manufacturers selling above the fixed ceiling price must reduce prices accordingly.

o Those already selling below the ceiling price must maintain their existing MRP.

o GST may be added only if actually payable to the government.

• Manufacturers must submit price lists (Form-V) and quarterly returns (Form-III) via IPDMS, and inform NPPA six months in advance if discontinuing production (Form-IV).

• Retailers and dealers must prominently display updated price lists in their premises.

• Failure to adhere to the notified ceiling prices will make manufacturers liable to repay overcharged amounts with interest under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013 and the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
