The Revenue Department, Kerala on October 28, 2025, issued the Assignment of Land within Municipal and Corporation Areas (Amendment) Rules, 2025, to further amend the Rules for Assignment of Land within Municipal and Corporation Areas, 1995.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Rule 4 which states “Maximum extent of land to be assigned and land value” in sub-rule (1): -
In item (i) of clause (b), for the symbols, figure, bracket and words “₹1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh)” the symbols, figure, bracket and words “₹2,50,000/- (Rupees two lakh and fifty thousand only)” shall be substituted.
This shall come into force on October 28, 2025.
