The Co-Operation Department, Kerala on November 03, 2025, issued the Kerala Co-operative Societies (Second Amendment) Rules, 2025, to further amend the Kerala Co-operative Societies Rules, 1969.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Rule 186 the following sub-rule has been inserted namely: -
“(5) The incumbent who had acquired the qualification of any degree from any universities, recognized by University Grants Commission shall be eligible for appointment through the Kerala Public Service Commission, Co-operative Service Examination Board and for promotion in all Co-operative Banks/Societies”.
This shall come into force on November 03, 2025.
