The following has been stated:

The Central Government, using its powers under Section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016, and after consultation with the Bureau of Indian Standards, has rescinded the earlier notification (S.O. 3931(E) dated September 13, 2021) concerning Polycarbonate. This rescission takes effect immediately.
