Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers (MoC&F) on November 12, 2025, issued a notification regarding rescission of an older notification No. S.O. 3927(E), dated September 13, 2021, related to Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene.

The following has been stated: -

•The Central Government, under Section 16 of the BIS Act, 2016, has rescinded the 2021 notification on Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) with immediate effect, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards.
