The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers (MoC&F) on November 12, 2025, issued a notification regarding rescission of an older notification No. S.O. 921 (E), dated February 26, 2024, related to Polypropylene (PP) Materials for Moulding and Extrusion.
The following has been stated: -
•The Central Government, under Section 16 of the BIS Act, 2016, has rescinded the 2024 notification on Polypropylene (PP) materials for moulding and extrusion with immediate effect, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards.
