The Health & Family Welfare and Ayush Services (H&FW&AS), on May 06, 2025, notified regarding the implementation of Standardized Mechanism for Reporting Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) related to the drug supplies from KSMSCL to the Health Institutions, through e-Aushada portal of KSMSCL.
The following amendments have been stated namely:-
• The system is intended to capture and monitor adverse drug events arising out of Drugs supplied by Karnataka State Medical Supplies Corporation Ltd. (KSMSCL) to various government health institutions across the State. Hence it is instructed that: 1.All Health Institutions shall immediately activate and utilize the ADR reporting option available under the AMO login in the e-Aushada software.
• The Administrative Medical Officer (AMO) /DS or designated officer at each Health institution shall be responsible for entering all suspected or confirmed ADRS related to drugs supplied by KSMSCL into the system.
• Drug Therapeutic and Quality Control Committee of the Health institution may evaluate the ADR before submission on the portal.
