The University Grants Commission (UGC) on November 12, 2025, issued a circular regarding compliance with the Supreme Court Directions on NTF Survey.
The following has been stated: -
•The Hon’ble Supreme Court, through its Order dated October 10, 2025, has reiterated the need for all Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to participate in the National Task Force (NTF) survey on mental health and student well-being.
•Despite earlier UGC communications, many HEIs have not responded. The Court has warned of adverse orders against non-compliant institutions.
•All HEIs are urged to ensure immediate and complete compliance.
