The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on November 2025, notified regarding the Registration of Non-Type Certified (non-TC) UAS.
Registration of Non-Type Certified (non-TC) UAS has been temporarily suspended until further notice. For registration of locally manufactured non-TC UAS in India, applicants may contact DGCA at [email protected] with the following documents:-
• eGCA ID details of applicant.
• Self-declaration affirming that the UAS has been manufactured in India.
• Specification of UAS as per Part C of Form D-1.
• Weighing certificate for the UAS from a suitable laboratory, ensuring that the weighing instrument is calibrated by a NABL-accredited laboratory and has verifiable traceability as per Indian standards.
• Status of the real-time tracking capability of the UAS proposed for registration.
• Confirmation of the geo-fencing capability of the UAS proposed for registration.
• List of MSN, FCM, and RPS of the UAS to be registered.
• Image (compressed) of UAS front View, Top view, and Close-up of manufacturer’s serial number.
