The Real Estate Regulatory Authority Bihar (BRERA) on October 13, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Mandatory Single Affidavit for Division of Share Between Promoter and Landowners
The following has been stated namely: -
• Promoters must now submit one consolidated affidavit, signed jointly by the promoter and all landowners—detailing the division of share available for marketing and selling.
• A standardized format has been issued, and this single affidavit must accompany every new project registration application, even when multiple development agreements exist, to avoid duplication or overlap in unit distribution.
This shall come into force on October 13, 2025.
