The Government of Kerala, on November 12, 2025, issued the Kerala Societies Registration Act, 2025.
The following has been stated namely:-
• Chapter 2, which states, “Registration of Societies”.
• Chapter 3, which states, “GENERAL MEETING AND FILING OF RETURNS”.
• General Meeting.—(1) Every society registered under this Act shall convene an annual general meeting in each year and the annual working report, audited balance sheet, income and expenditure accounts and audit report for the previous year in respect of the management of the society shall be submitted for approval
