Labour Compliance The Government of Punjab, on November 14, 2025, extends the Industrial Disputes (Punjab Amendment) Act, 2020 to the Union Territory of Chandigarh with Modifications.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Section 2 shall be omitted.

• In Section 3, after the words “Principal Act”, the words shall be inserted namely:-“in its application the Union territory of Chandigarh”.

• Section 4 shall be omitted;

• Section 5 shall be omitted;

• Section 6 shall be omitted;

• Section 7 shall be omitted.
