class="MsoNormal">The Government of Goa, on November 14, 2025, issued the City of Panaji Corporation (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025, to further amend the City of Panaji Corporation Act, 2002.
In Section 256, which states, “Prohibition of erection or re-erection of buildings without permission”, sub-section (1), after the existing proviso, a new proviso shall be inserted, namely:— “Provided further that a building which is reflected in the record of rights and the first promulgated survey plan prepared under the provisions of the Goa Land Revenue Code, 1968 (9 of 1969) shall be deemed to have been erected with due permission of the Commissioner.”.
