The following has been stated namely: -

• It has introduced a new module to identify, report, and deactivate duplicate KYC records, following consultations with stakeholders on February 11, 2025. Under the new system, the earliest KYC record is retained, and later records are marked as duplicates and sent to the reporting entity (RE) that originally uploaded them for verification.

• Once confirmed, CKYCRR will merge additional information from the duplicate record into the retained one and deactivate the duplicate entry.
