The Labour Department, Govt. of Tripura, on October 30, 2025, notified regarding the revision of Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) for Workers Employed in Cooperative Stores and Societies.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Government of Tripura has revised the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) for workers employed in Cooperative Stores and Societies, including LAMPS, PMCS, and PACS. This revision is based on the 6-month average Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 63 points for the period January 01, 2025, to June 30, 2025.
• The revised VDA will be payable from October 01, 2025, and employers in the specified establishments must pay the updated allowance as per the new schedule.
