The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on November 14, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Introduction of Bidding for Zero Coupon Zero Principal (ZCZP) instrument for Social Stock Exchange (SSE).
The following has been stated namely: -
• From November 17, 2025, the SSE Module for bidding in Zero Coupon Zero Principal (ZCZP) instruments will be available on BSE’s IBBS (Internet-Based Book Building System).
Applicable to Trading Members, SCSBs, DPs, RTAs, and other intermediaries.
• The following can place bids:
o Trading Members (Equity/Debt)
o SCSBs
o Depository Participants (registered for IPO bidding)
o RTAs (registered for IPO bidding)
• Bidding Guidelines & Payment Modes
o Bids are at fixed price.
o Payment options include: Bank ASBA, UPI ASBA, Cheque/DD, Direct Credit, NACH, NEFT, RTGS.
o UPI allowed for individuals via members/DPs/RTAs for bids up to ₹5 lakh.
o ASBA applicable to all investor categories.
o Bidding window: min 3 days, max 10 days, between 10 AM – 5 PM.
• Bids can be entered through:
o Single bid entry screen
o Bulk file upload (Annexure formats)
• API integration Key rules: -
o Cancellation allowed; modification of Application No., PAN, DP ID/Client ID not allowed.
o Multiple bids allowed, but not with same application number.
o UPI mandates must be accepted by 5 PM on T+1.
o PAN + Demat details will be validated with Depositories.
• Reports & Investor Communication: -
o Intermediaries will get: Member/Bank reports, Bid download, ASBA order book, UPI order book, Allocation download.
o Exchange will display category-wise subscription levels.
o Investors will receive SMS/Email confirmations end of day.
o Application and allotment status will be available on Exchange website like public issue bids.
