The Department of Transport, Government of Goa on November 12, 2025, notified regarding the extension in relief on Fitness Certificate Delay Fees for Mining Heavy Vehicles till May 2026.
It states that additional fee for delay after expiry of certificate of fitness, in respect of heavy goods vehicles engaged in mining activities registered on the portal of the Department of Mines (DoM), as specified against entry at Serial No. 11-A of the Table in rule 81 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 Rules, shall not be levied exceeding one thousand rupees upto May 31, 2026.
