The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), on October 28, 2025, notified regarding the implementation plan of NABH accreditation standards for eco 2nd edition.
The following have been stated:-
• NABH is pleased to announce the introduction of 2nd edition of the NABH Accreditation Standards and Guidebook for Eye Care Organisations. This edition is unique in its approach and has been presented based entirely on the suggestions made by various stakeholders. The 2nd edition of NABH Accreditation Standards for Eye Care Organization is a valuable resource for healthcare organizations committed to providing safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
• The 2nd edition of NABH accreditation standards for Eye Care Organization was released on September 17, 2025, during the NABH Patient Safety Conference in New Delhi. The new edition will be effective from January 01, 2026.
• The revised standards will be available on NABH Website for download.
