The Tax, Excise & Narcotics Commissioner, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, on November 07, 2025, issued the revised Maximum Retail Prices (MRPs) of alcoholic beverages.
The following have been stated:-
• Whereas, the Government vide Notification No. Ex-514/MRP(R)/2024- 2025/02/570 dated 26/09/2024 has revised and circulated the rates of ad- valorem levy of excise duty on alcoholic beverages which came into effect in the State from 01/10/2024.
• And whereas, the undersigned vide order No.Ex-514/MRP(R)/2024- 2025/01/520 dated 09/08/2024 has circulated Cost Card for calculating the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) of alcoholic beverages on ad-valorem basis in the State.
• Now, therefore, the undersigned in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-rule (i) and (ii) of Rule 252 of the Arunachal Pradesh Excise Rules, 1994 and keeping in view the proposals submitted by companies/manufactories and in the interest of the Government revenue, hereby fixed the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) of the new brands of alcoholic beverages as appended herewith as Annexure-I to III for civil marketing and sale in the State, until further orders.
