The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), on November 13, 2025, notified regarding the Annual return Filing by registered PIBOs and PWPs for FY 2024-25.
The following have been stated:-
• As per the provision of EPR Guidelines, the timelines for filing Annual Returns (AR) for FY 2024-25 were 30.06.2025 for registered Producers, Importers, and Brand Owners (PIBOs), and 30.04.2025 for Plastic Waste Processors (PWPs), respectively.
• Vide Office Memorandum dated 27.06.2025 & 29.07.2025, the timeline for filing of ARs by registered PIBOs and PWPs had been extended till 31.07.2025 & 30.09.2025, respectively.
• However, CPCB has received representations from registered entities seeking a further extension of the timeline for AR filing for FY 2024-25.
• In view of the above, the timeline for filing ARs for both PIBOs and PWPs has been extended till November 30, 2025.
