The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has launched and fully implemented a new Multilingual Module on the E-Cinepramaan portal to simplify certification for films released in multiple Indian languages. This optional feature allows filmmakers to submit all language versions of a film through a single application, reducing duplication and improving efficiency. Certified films will receive a single Multilingual Certificate listing all approved languages. The module streamlines processing by assigning the entire application to one Regional Office. This initiative supports the growing trend of pan-India cinema and enhances transparency, accessibility, and ease in the film certification process.
