The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, on November 14, 2025, issued a notification regarding the fixation of the Maximum Retail Price of locally manufactured IMFL and Imported Bio brands for sale in the civil market for the year 2025-26.
The following has been stated: -
•The Excise Commissioner of Jammu & Kashmir has approved revised Ex-Factory, Ex-Wholesale, and Maximum Retail Prices (MRP) for locally manufactured IMFL and imported BIO brands for 2025–26.
•These prices are set under the J&K Liquor License and Sale Rules, 1984, based on recommendations of the committee formed under Order No. 60-EC of 2022.
•Annexures A-31 and A-32 list approved MRP details for all applicable brands.
•Retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers are directed to comply and not sell above the fixed rates.
