The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, on September 16, 2025, issued a notification regarding the fixation of the Maximum Retail Price of Imported Beer, Locally manufactured Medium/Premium, and Imported Deluxe/Super Deluxe IMFL brands for sale in the civil market for the year 2025-26.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government has approved the Ex-Manufacturer, Ex-Wholesale, and Maximum Retail Prices for imported beer, locally manufactured medium/premium IMFL, and imported deluxe/super deluxe IMFL for 2025–26.
•These prices are notified under Rule 38 of the J&K Liquor License & Sale Rules, 1984, and are based on recommendations of the committee constituted in 2022.
•All brands must strictly adhere to the fixed rates as detailed in Annexures A-23, A-24, and A-25.
