The Government of Gujarat on November 12, 2025, issued the draft Gujarat Motor Vehicles (4th Amendment) Rules, 2025, to further amend the Gujarat Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.
In rule 6, after clause (viii), the following clauses shall be added namely:
• “(ix) In respect of change of address, change of name, change of photograph or signature in a learner’s licence, or for issue of a duplicate learner’s licence, a fee of rupees two hundred;
• (x) In respect of furnishing particulars of learner’s license, twenty-five rupees.”
Any objection or suggestion regarding the said draft may be sent to the Principal Secretary to the Government of Gujarat, Ports and Transport Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, by December 12, 2025.
