The Planning Department, Delhi on November 12, 2025, issued a notification for Conduct of Annual Survey of Industries (ASI) 2023–24.
The Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has authorized the conduct of the Annual Survey of Industries (ASI) 2023–24 – State Sample under the Collection of Statistics Act, 2008 (as amended) and the Collection of Statistics Rules, 2024.
The notification specifies:
• Collection of statistics on manufacturing and related activities as detailed in Schedule-I.
• Appointment of officers: Statistics Officers (Schedule-II), Adjudicating Officers (Schedule-III), and Appellate Authorities (Schedule-IV) for designated geographical areas.
• Authorized personnel, after submitting Form-I, may verify information, inspect records, seek clarifications, and will carry an official ID and authorization letter.
• Data submitted by informants (Part-I and Part-II) will be verified, scrutinized, and processed by the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, GNCTD.
• All individuals involved in data collection, processing, or dissemination for ASI 2023-24 are bound by the provisions of the Collection of Statistics Act, 2008 (as amended) and the Collection of Statistics Rules, 2024.
