The Excise Commissioner, Government of Jammu and Kashmir on August 19, 2025, has approved the classification of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and Wine brands for sale in the Civil Market and Canteen Stores Department/Paramilitary Forces (CSD/PMF) within the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for the financial year 2025–26.
his order is issued in exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 38, sub-rule (31), clause (b), sub-clause (iv) of the Jammu and Kashmir Liquor License and Sale Rules, 1984, read with Notification S.O. 38 dated February 15, 2025, and based on the recommendations of the Committee constituted vide Order No. 60-EC of 2022 dated May 30, 2022.
The approved classification of brands under the relevant categories and segments is detailed in the Annexure appended to this order for implementation during the year 2025–26.
