The Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board (GIDB), on November 3, 2025, has sanctioned the Preliminary Town Planning Scheme No. 3B (Panchi, Sangasar and Sandhida) under the provisions of the Gujarat Special Investment Region Act, 2009 and the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976.
This sanction follows earlier steps wherein the Draft Town Planning Scheme No. 3, prepared by the Dholera Special Investment Regional Development Authority, was split into four parts—3A, 3B, 3C1, and 3C2—by the Town Planning Officer under section 17(1) of the 2009 Act and section 63 of the 1976 Act. The Preliminary Scheme No. 3B, after due consideration, has been approved by the Apex Authority subject to modifications as specified in the Schedule.
As per the Schedule, the width of the road has been revised from 24 meters to 25 meters in alignment with the Sanctioned Development Plan. The approved Preliminary Scheme shall be available for public inspection at the office of the said Authority during working hours on official days.
